Our Organic Multi-Colored Popcorn is a beautiful combination of yellow, white, blue and red Organic popcorn. It is grown on a second generation family farm in Pleasant Grove, California. Beginning with 45 acres of organic popcorn in 1985, the 3,000 acre farm has been fully converted to organic since 1996. The farmer performs ongoing research aimed at improving yields and reducing inputs associated with growing organic field crops.
Popcorn is a low calorie, whole grain snack loaded with fiber that can be enjoyed alone or as a means for exploring a variety of added-on favors.
A delicious way to enjoy this popcorn is with a light coating of ghee or coconut oil, sprinkled with salt. You can also add nutritional yeast or herbs (basil, rosemary, or tarragon) with a spray of tamari.

INGREDIENTS : Organic Red Popcorn, Organic Yellow Popcorn, Organic White Popcorn and Organic Blue Popcorn
STORAGE : Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil, ½ cup popcorn kernels, Salt to taste
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the oil and 2 popcorn kernels. Cover pot and wait for the kernels to pop.
Once the kernels pop, turn the stove off, remove pot from heat and pour in remaining popcorn kernels. Cover the pot again, and give the pot a little shake to distribute the kernels evenly.
Let the pot rest for 60 seconds.
Turn the heat back up to medium, put the pot back onto the burner and continue cooking the popcorn, carefully shake the pot occasionally to cook the kernels evenly. Once the kernels start popping, tip the lid an inch to allow the steam to escape.
Continue cooking until the popping sound slows to about one pop per every few seconds. Remove the lid and dump the popcorn into your serving bowl.
