Our Organic Black Lentils have a 24% protein content, the highest of any lentil. Black lentils cook in about 20 minutes at a simmer. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
1 cup lentils | 3 cups water /or 2 cups water and 1 cup broth
Place the lentils and water in a pot together and bring to a high simmer, then simmer. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until the lentils are tender but still hold their shape. You can drain any excess liquid.
